“So what is this ‘60 Day Challenge’ I see on the back of your new DVD and on your website all

60-day-challengeabout?” people ask.

The “60 Day Challenge” is an online training program created to challenge women to begin, stick with, continually progress, and log achievements while training with the Kettlebells:  Cardio & Fat Loss for Women DVD.  It is a wonderful asset to help women achieve their goals – not just for 60 days, but beyond.

The “60 Day Challenge” evolved from many discussions and feedback from others.  It quickly became apparent that I was going to be bombarded with emails containing questions and requests for additional guidance.   Like most of you, I have limited time for answering e-mails.  There is simply not enough time for me to help people in they way they need.  (Remember, I’m a “Busy Mom” too!)  After many discussions with our website manager, we created the “60 Day Challenge” and the “60 Day Challenge – Plus!” programs.  It is my best effort to connect with each of you individually and elaborate more completely – especially concerning program design and training progression.

While Kettlebells: Cardio & Fat Loss for Women certainly is a “stand-alone” and a “one-size-fits-all” product, I desired to offer further detailed guidance to help participants fully tap into the many benefits.  The reality is:  many women let the busyness of life eek out their time for maintaining good fitness levels.  I want to equip women to meet this need and reap the maximum training value found within the workout on the DVD.  I also want to encourage women to believe that their goals are not intangible dreams, but rather realistic and achievable.  I am living testimony to this fact.

Shy from becoming your on-line personal trainer, I will provide you with elements I believe are helpful.  The brief, daily (or every-other-day) emails will help you stay focused, give you options, and encourage you.  The downloadable “Personal Record Keeping Log” keeps you accountable, progress driven, and organized.  The “Training Program & Progressions Guide” safely guides you through 52 levels of training progressions.  This guide is matched with and utilizes the 20 different programs on the DVD menu.  It includes other important information such as:  the specific program # on the DVD, total time of each workout, modifications and/or advanced technique tips for each exercise, and suggests what size kettlebell to use with each circuit.

For those of you who are ready to “jump in with both feet”, the “Plus” package has been created.  It is a more comprehensive program.  The extra emails provide valuable program design for slow strength training days (which I strongly encourage women to do), nutritional tips, recipes, and other helpful suggestions for improving one’s health.

The “60 Day Challenge” program includes:

  • Downloadable Personal Record Keeping Log
  • Training Program & Progression Guide containing 52 detailed levels of safe training progression
  • 30 emails from me to encourage and prod you on the road to success

The “60 Day Challenge – Plus!” program includes:

  • Downloadable Personal Record Keeping Log
  • Training Program & Progression Guide containing 52 detailed levels of safe training progression
  • 60 emails from me to encourage and prod you on the road to success
  • Additional program design for slow strength training
  • Nutrition tips, recipes, and other suggestions for improving health

Both of these programs are on-going.  That is to say:  one may start at any time.  Another option is to repeat the challenge for another 60 days.  Success stories may be submitted for publishing on our website.

This introduction to the “60 Day Challenge” may have stirred up a few questions.  If so, please contact me at maureen@tacticalathlete.com   I will do my best to answer as many questions as possible there.  I believe you’ll find the 60 Day Challenge and training programs in “The Busy Woman’s Workout” DVD series enjoyable, rewarding, and value-packed.

I hope to meet each one of you someday, somewhere.  Until then . . . I will do my best to communicate with you through writing.  As always, I wish each of you the best of health!
